About 6.9 acres of green space adjacent to southbound Interstate 95 just before Woolbright Road in Boynton Beach could turn into a 92,000-square-foot storage facility for RVs and boats.
The city’s planning and development board on Tuesday night approved the developer’s plan with a few conditions. The board’s approval serves as a guide to the city commissioners, who will vote on the project in April.
Some residents who live in the neighborhoods near the proposed facility are against the project. Their main concern is the access to the property which will be through Ocean Drive. They would prefer a more southern entry. They also said they are worried about children who play in the area.
