Boynton Beach railway crossing to be closed Monday for Brightline work

All Aboard Florida crews will close the Boynton Beach Boulevard and Florida East Coast Railway crossing Monday.

The closure will start at 7 a.m. and end at 6 p.m., according to a news release.

Crews will be working on the railway for the Brightline passenger rail service.

Heads up!

Northeast Fifteenth Avenue and the Florida East Coast Railway intersection will be closed starting Thursday at 7 a.m. through Monday at 6 p.m.

All Aboard Florida crews will be doing construction.

All Aboard Florida work to close Boynton Beach intersections

All Aboard Florida crews will be making construction improvements starting this weekend in Boynton Beach. Here’s what intersections will be closed and when:

  • The intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd./NE 10th Avenue and the Florida East Coast Railway, and NE 6th Avenue and the Florida East Coast Railway, will close Saturday at 7 a.m. Both intersections will reopen Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Construction at Hypoluxo Road, FEC crossing delayed

All Aboard Florida is expected to release its new brand (which should include a new name). It will also release the first images of the trains. Need photos of the trains and Mike Reininger, President, All Aboard Florida, who is expected to address the media. UPDATE on Monday afternoon: The construction at the crossing has been cancelled.

ORIGINAL POST on Saturday: The crossing at Hypoluxo Road and the Florida East Coast Railway tracks will be closed starting Monday at 7 p.m. and will reopen Thursday at 6 p.m.

Crews working for All Aboard Florida will close the intersection to perform “construction improvements” for the rail service.
