Grilled-cheese sandwich lovers have a limited time in Boynton Beach to buy their favorite sandwich from MELT “Crafted Grilled Cheese.”
The restaurant in Renaissance Commons, which opened in 2014, will close Sunday. The menu includes a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches, chopped salads and side dishes. Examples of sandwiches on the menu: Loaded Potato, which is American cheese, french fries, bacon and scallions on white bread with a side of ranch dressing; and Pulled Pork, which is pork, cheddar cheese, coleslaw, pickle chip and BBQ sauce on white bread.
The restaurant is owned by Craig Larson, who also owns Lucille’s Bad to the Bone BBQ.
Yes, you guessed it.
Larson is reopening Melt’s spot as Lucille’s in mid to late July, said Jennifer Gibson, the store’s manager.
The restaurant is at 1880 N. Congress Avenue, at the southeast corner of Congress and Gateway in Renaissance Commons.
