BOCA RATON — Actress Blake Lively is using her stardom to shed a spotlight on a Boca Raton nonprofit that has for years waged war on an underground child pornography industry.

The 29-year-old mother of two daughters, and spouse to actor Ryan Reynolds, landed on Tuesday’s cover of “Variety” magazine. She used that cover story to promote the work of the Child Rescue Coalition, a Boca Raton nonprofit that uses impressive web tech to track down people who illegally download child pornography and works with police to have them arrested.

“There are millions of files all over the world being traded every single day of child pornography,” Lively told Variety. “It’s so disturbing. A lot of these people are fathers.”

Child Rescue Coaltion CEO Carly Asher Yoost, daughter of late Boca Raton data guru and business millionaire Hank Asher, also chatted with the magazine and once posed with Lively at a red carpet event.

Lively gave the Boca Raton nonprofit a shout out on Instagram back in 2016, when she shared a photo with Yoost and thanked the nonprofit for its work.

It's as important as ever to celebrate the value of women. 💪🏼🚺 I'm deeply grateful to have spent time with Carly Yoost who -through her company, CHILD RESCUE COALITION- has helped to arrest 8,000 child predators and has saved 1,900 children so far from online predators and HANDS ON ABUSERS!! She sees KIDS AS YOUNG AS 2 YEARS OLD being victims of child pornography… often! Please check out her program if you want to contribute in making the world safer for our children. It's solely funded through charity and grants, so she needs all the help (💰) she can get! Thank you @lorealmakeup for introducing me to this years #WomenOfWorth honoree, and for contributing $25,000 to her cause! What a night. 🎉🙏🏼LINK IN BIO TO DONATE OR INFORM 💖 xo!

The Child Rescue Coalition was profiled by The Palm Beach Post back in 2015, when it first went public with what was once Hank Asher’s secret project.

The data collected by the Boca Raton nonprofit was used in a 2015 case against a Jupiter gymnastics coach who downloaded numerous child porn files online.
