Eat wings at this Boynton location and help raise Autism awareness

Handout: Hurricane Grill & Wings

It started as an April Fools’ Day joke, but it’s turned into something much more.

Earlier this month, which is Autism Awareness Month, Hurricane Grill & Wings unveiled the blue-colored chicken wing sauce, named “Blazin’ Blue Raz.” The company has released the real meaning behind it: They hope to raise exposure and money for Autism Awareness Month. Blue is the cause’s campaign color.

For every wing sold in April at any of the company’s 62 locations, one of which is in Boynton Beach, Hurricane’s will donate money to Els for Autism.

Hurricane’s estimates they can raise more than $15,000 for the organization, which was established in 2009 by Liezl and Ernie Els.

The Hurricane location in Boynton is 1500 E. Gateway Blvd.
