Think you’re better than dad in basketball? Try this Boynton event

Fathers, or the male figure in the child’s life, and sons are invited to compete and spend quality time together Thursday at the Father/Son Basketball Contest.

The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Ezell Hester, Jr. Community Center.

The contest includes free-throw shooting, a dribbling relay and jump shooting.

Trophies for first and second place will be awarded.

The event per team is $10 for residents and $13 for non-residents.

Pre-registration is required. On-line registration is available at In-person registration is at Intracoastal Park Clubhouse, 2240 N. Federal Highway.
