BOCA RATON — Grab your gloves and hats, you may actually need them.

Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton, at 300 S. Military Trail, is hosting “Piles of Smiles Snow Day” on Saturday, Dec. 17, when they’ll bring in snow for children ages 4-12 to play in. The event costs $12 per child in advance and $15 at the door.

The park will also have carnival-style games, winter games, water slides, bounce houses, a sock skating rink and food trucks, according to event organizers.

Kids will have a change to test their hockey slap skills in the rink with members of the Florida Panthers team in a game organizers call “Panther Patrol.” There will also be chances to win free Panthers’ hockey game tickets.
