Observe Veteran’s Day in southern Palm Beach County with these events

If you’re looking honor our veterans in southern Palm Beach County this Veteran’s Day, Friday, Nov. 11, here are a couple of ceremonies in the Boca Raton and Delray Beach area:

– Delray Beach: Join city leaders in honoring our armed forces at Veterans Park, at 802 NE 1st Street, at 9 a.m. Friday. The free and open event will include a ceremony, featuring a speech from retired Colonel Drew Meyerowich, a wounded veteran who twice led soldiers in combat.
– Boca Raton: A free ceremony will be held at the Boca Raton Cemetery, at 449 SW 4th Avenue, and will include performances by the Boca Raton High School band and ROTC program. City officials and local veterans groups will attend the ceremony.
