DELRAY BEACH — Some offices in City Hall remain without air conditioning and are closed for the day after the building’s main chiller was damaged in Hurricane Matthew, according to city officials.

The following departments are closed for the day: city clerk’s office; city manager’s office; the finance department; human resources; and the purchasing department.

The city’s contractor for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems has said repairs won’t be complete until Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 8 a.m.

Other departments at City Hall, whose air conditioning units weren’t damaged in the storm, will remain open through the day, according to city staff.
