The worst of Hurricane Matthew has passed and the City of Boynton Beach will go out once the sun rises to assess damage.
But, City Police Spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said she doesn’t expect much.
At about 6:45 a.m., she told The Post, “No flooding. Minor palm fronds down and minor debris.”
She said City Hall has power. There are one or two areas in the city that lost power, she said.
The police department lobby at 100 E. Boynton Beach Blvd. will reopen at 10 a.m. Friday. City Hall will remain closed, she said.
“All is well” here in Boynton, she wrote on the police department’s Facebook page.
