Hurricane Matthew: Info on ER, procedures, births at Boynton hospitals

Information about Bethesda Health hospitals from a news release:

  • All elective procedures at Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West scheduled after 2:00 p.m. Thursday have been cancelled
  • All elective procedures scheduled at Bethesda Health City for Thursday and Friday have been cancelled
  • The Emergency Departments at Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West are open
  • Women who are 36-weeks gestation should plan to arrive at Bethesda Hospital East and arrive by Thursday at 2:00 p.m. and bring: Blankets, pillows, sleeping bag, lawn chair, water, snacks, medications, toiletries, comfortable clothing, doctor’s name and phone number, books, games; personal stereo/TV and flashlights
  • Bethesda Hospital East and Bethesda Hospital West are not shelters. If you have special medical needs, you should contact your doctor to make arrangements for placement in a special needs shelter
