Ocean Food Mart at Ocean Avenue and Federal Highway in Boynton has water and food, and plans to stay open until about 6 p.m.

Niel Harb’s brother owns the store. He said he plans to stay open until 6 p.m. unless the weather gets too bad.

Stay informed with The Post’s hurricane coverage here.

“There’s a lot of people who come here for food and drinks. It’s our community,” Harb said. “I’ve been here for six years. A lot of people are more like friends than customers.”

The store has a generator. Harb plans to reopen tomorrow as long as it’s possible.

The store is boarded up with plywood, which was decorated by his son and customers.

It reads, “Go away Matthew,” and “ice cold beer.”

The store is at 101 N. Federal Highway.
