The store will open Thursday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m., but customers are invited to line up outside the store beginning at 7 a.m. The first 500 customers in line will get “surprise gift cards” ranging from $10 to $1,000, according to Microsoft. More than 100 of the gift cards will be worth $100 or more, while only one gift card will be worth $1,000.
On top of that, the first 200 customers in line will also get a ticket to attend a meet-and-greet with retired Miami Dolphins Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino on Nov. 5.
The 1,482-square-foot store will be near Bloomingdale’s in the west-central portion of Town Center. Microsoft will sell its latest products and offer expert advise, troubleshooting and repairs.
The store is one of only eight in Florida, and the first to open in Palm Beach County.
