Delray Beach will be featured on PBS’s “Around the Corner in the Palm Beaches” Thursday night

DELRAY BEACH — The history of vibrancy of Delray Beach will be the subject of an episode of “Around the Corner in the Palm Beaches,” a PBS series that airs Thursdays.

On Sept. 22, the host, Frank Licari, who has worked in television for more than 10 years, will explore unique tourist destination, gastronomy, culture and niche areas throughout Delray Beach. The show airs at 7:30 p.m. on WPBT Channel 2.

Delray Beach is one of four local cities featured in the four-part series. The show also explores the history of Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Lake Worth. The show plans to expand its coverage to the Keys, Miami-Dade and Broward as well, according to show organizers.
