The Boynton Beach Police Department is hosting a Back to School Drive to benefit Abbey’s Angels, a program that benefits children who are homeless or in foster care.

The organization collects suitcases and fills them with essentials for the children. It’s run by Abbey Peterman, 18, and her mother, Charlie.

The police department will collect items such as toothbrushes, towels, crayons and coloring books to give to the organization.

The drive ends Wednesday.

Donations can be dropped off at the police department at 100 E. Boynton Beach Blvd.
