With only a 10 to 20 percent chance of rain this weekend, everyone in Delray Beach should take advantage.
Here’s a list of things to pencil into your planner for this weekend:
» Craft saki, anyone? The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens west of Delray Beach will hold its monthly Sushi & Stroll event Friday evening after closing. You can drink saki while walking the gardens, then check out the art museum and a taiko drum performance. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for children. The museum is at 4000 Morikami Park Road.
» Drum circle. Residents are gathering at Veterans Park on Saturday night for a drum circle, yoga and general community camaraderie. The event is free and everyone is encouraged to bring instruments and yoga mats. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. For more details, check out the Facebook page.
» A burlesque show. “A little sweet, a lot of sass … the naughtiest burlesque in South Florida!” That’s how the Arts Garage in Delray Beach describes its jazz and comedy burlesque show Sunday evening. Tickets start at $30 and can be purchased here.
