Group recreates 100-year-old photo in Boynton Beach

UPDATE on July 5: On Saturday, members of the Boynton Beach Historical Society and the community gathered to recreate history.

They posed in a photograph to mirror one taken about 100 years ago.

ORIGINAL POST: The Boynton Beach Historical Society will recreate history on Saturday.

It will meet at Pioneer Canal Park and recreate a photo taken about 100 years ago.

The photo is of 10 people eating watermelon along the newly dug canal bank in Boynton.

The event begins at 10 a.m. at the park at 848 NW 13th Ave.
