A 23-year-old Lauderhill woman was arrested in Boynton Beach on Tuesday after she swung a metal selfie-stick at an Enterprise Rent-A-Car employee because of a disagreement, according to city police.

She did so with her right hand while she held her 2-year-old child in her left hand, police said.

Titonia Palamino was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail about 3:40 p.m. and faces charges of aggravated assault and child neglect, according to jail records.

Police were called about 11:40 a.m. to the Enterprise at 1009 N. Federal Highway, north of Boynton Beach Boulevard. Palamino had spoken with the employee and threatened to come to the business “to commence a physical confrontation,” according to police. When she arrived and swung the selfie-stick, the employee took “evasive action” and waited for police to come.
