Retired assistant manager to be replaced with two in Boynton Beach

There has been a little bit of a reorganization in the city staff at Boynton Beach.

The city has been looking at how to replace Carisse LeJeune, who was the assistant city manager. LeJeune, who started working at the city in 2000, retired at the end of 2015.

City Manager Lori LaVerriere has decided it would be best to have two assistant city managers. Tim Howard, who was the director of financial services, is now an assistant city manager for administrative services. And, Colin Groff, who is the director of the utilities department, is now assistant city manager for public services.

The City Commission voted to approve the moves earlier this month.
